Living with three girls can be really difficult. Especially when you are the cleanliest. I clean to relax, I don't like having long hair stuck to the walls of my bathroom or bathtub so I clean it. I hate having overflowing dirty dishes in my kitchen so I do the dishes. To me it's a natural part of life, to be clean, but apparently not for my roommates. It really drives a wedge between us because we each like it a certain way and when you are the one who likes it clean it can be difficult to handle the mess. This may sound tedious but this is my home, and after school or work it sucks it come home to a messy house, especially when you are the one who didn't make the mess.
Having roommates is suppose to be give and take but to me cleanliness is not something I should be comprising on. They don't know why they get sick all of the time, possibly because I have never once seen one of them wash their hands before they eat. It's not about being a clean freak because I am not, it's about being healthy. Although I use to be the health and safety Rep for one of the group homes I worked at so I know what is safe and an unsafe living environment.
They told me that I act like a leader because I don't wait to be told to do something, I just do it. I have lots of energy and accomplish things on a daily basis. I do have some leadership qualities but what they haven't thought of is that maybe it's not so much me being a leader as them being sheep.
